Warping a floor loom is when you are setting the threads that will be the foundation of the fabric you are going to weave. At first glance it may look a bit intimidating or difficult to understand, but no need to panic! Weave that into practice and with some well-deserved patience, you WILL be confidently warping up your loom. Go through the steps slowly and you will get there!
Measure out your yarn — the first thing. This is super important because you want enough yarn to complete your project. You can use a measuring tape or yardstick to assist you in this. You want to prevent your threads from getting tangled, so you just have to cross your yarn. A warping board or pegs can help you create this cross shape.
